You' re right Sling, I was looking at 50. But the point that I was making is that the Hevi Shot #7 was about the same as a #5.5 lead (if there was such a thing) in retained energy. Thanks for the correction!

I think I will like them, the thing is I put about 3 times as many shot in the kill zone with the Nitro' s than with the Winchesters, and all of them shot are' nt 7' s some of them are 4' s and 5' s.

I finally got out and patterned my Nova with hevi and lead the other day. I was impressed with Remington' s hevi but it wasn' t anywhere near 3 times as many pellets in a 30" circle as lead.

When I get a chance I' ll photo the patterns and post them.

Tapemeasured 30 and 40 yards.
