No, not Tony Orlando and Dawn....I mean the winter flocks? Is it to soon to scout since they might not be all spread out yet??

Wel were I hunt theres still a foot of snow. I think I will wait a couple more weeks.

I was out all day yesterday working on treestands for
next fall. I heard gobbling from the time I got there
(9:30) until I left (4:30). Throughout the day I saw
4 longbeards by themselves, one with a jake, and
a group of 3 longbeards that made me jump when
they gobbled less than a 100 yards away! I didn' t
see any hens, but I' d say things are about to get
started[:-]....too bad our season is still a month
away[:' (].
