I have used WinchesterSuper X 1-5/8oz #6's with reasonable success in the past.

I've used theWin #6load in my old Mod. 97. It patterned quite well. Took two turkeys at 40 yd. with it.

Each gun can be different. Buy as many differently loads as you can affort and test patter your gun.. To decrease the cost join with a couple of friends and share the cost of the shells.
