Turkey Hunting Whether it's spring or fall doesn't matter to this bunch. Great tips on calling, bustin flocks, using blinds and more.

I have alway' s worn a Burly in the low/wet areas. But I bought a pair of Muck Woody' s,I think I' ll try these this spring.I like being able to fold down the tops to let some of the heat out.
When I hunt the upper area' s & I' m having to do a little(lot) more walking,I wear the Rocky Snake boots,I really do not care for the football type tread on em,Nor am I really afraid of coming across a RattletailedCopperMoccasin,It' s better to have em and not need em vs Not have em and...
Good Luck this Spring everyone!

I too have a pair of Herman Survivors from Wal-Mart. Mine are camo cordura and leather with very little insulation. They work pretty well. I also wear a pair of LaCrosse Burly' s if I' m going to encounter water.

Depends on the weather. I wear everything from Cabelas camo sneakers to hi-tech insulateds. When I go to NY I carry about 3 pairs, knee high rubber for rain, sneakers for warm and dry and scouting, insulated for cold. I' ve seen it anywhere from 50 degrees to 17 degrees and snowing sideways on opening morning.

I wear my Rocky Turkey Boots.......come to the knee.....waterproof and lightweight. Main reason is so the dang rattlers, copperheads, and cottonmouths can' t gnaw on me toes......they ain' t biting through them. Now if it weren' t for the snakes I would wear my Nikes.
