RE: Staying comfortable
I just ordered the new Stadium seat turkey vest from Cabela' s. I too get uncomfortable and get back aches from time to time (and I' m only 41!).
I just can' t wait to get out there.... ;) Butch |
RE: Staying comfortable
Unless I am on a pre-work hunt, I use a expandable camo chair like soccer moms use. It is big, bulky and unorthidox, but I can sit in it for hours and shoot accurately. A pic can be seen here...

RE: Staying comfortable
I have one of those H.S. Strut air cushion seats, but the year before last it broke open at the nozzle. Now it' s filled with about 3/4" of closed cell foam. I do want to start looking for a new vest and seat here pretty soon though.
HUMMM..... ..let' s see, sit down all nice & cozy, just have to wait a few minutes to make that first call. Hey, where did that yawn come from? ....... ZZZZZZZZZZZZZZZZ:D |
RE: Staying comfortable
I saw that seat in the Midwest Turkey Calls catalog also. :)

RE: Staying comfortable
I have one of those HS Strut folding seats as well. I top it off with a self inflating pad. Very comfortable!!

RE: Staying comfortable
I' ve had two of those self inflating seats (Bun Saver) develope a leak the first few times I used them. Not sure If I want to buy another unless I try another brand.
