Default 2008...1st turkey

Hello to all! I think this is my first post here. I wanted to show my 1st turkey, taken in Laurens County, Georgia this past April. Thanks for taking a look.

From the picture I see a multiple bearded bird - is thta true?

Since it is your first you shold measure and post each beard length.

Thanks JW. Yeah, it had 4 beards, total length 35 inches. 11&1/8, 10&3/4, 7, 6&3/4 if I remember right. I am anxiously awaiting the call for pickup from my taxidermist.....

That'll make a true cool mount. I had a double beard done last yr and jsut got it back. Pictures are posted here on another thread.

thanks for the kind words. mY nephew ethan is the real hero, he did a great job calling and made sure we got a chance. he managed to kill a bird in Ga and 2 more in Vermont this season. his pics are all over my blog, take a peek. again, thanks
