So, I now have all the parts I'm gonna re-blue set aside.... I trashed the old stock... and I set the other parts I need to blow out and clean aside as well.
To blow out shotgun parts, I use a can of degreaser... Remington makes one that works well. I completely blow out all of the assemblies, taking extra care to ensure the springs are clear of debris as well.
I then oil the reciever housing to luster it, along with the slide and forend. I clean out the magazine tube and the plug, and we can probably soak the spring in oil.... just cause

So, the stock on the gun had some problems, I found a fantastic after market pistol grip stock in matte black for 40 bucks... So, this thread will take a break while my parts blue up and my stock ships......
Or,
I could move onto the barrell....

There's something missing from this end though....
What choke to put in it?
I have an Undertaker for it.. But would like to hear from other 835 owners and get an opinion as to what they shoot and what they have seen pattern the best....

Looks good. I am not an 835 shooter (used to be), but I would look at the Indian Creek chokes. They are a little expensive, but they are getting some rave reviews!

With the rising cost of everything, I'd rather not spend 70 bucks on a choke...

I shoot an Indian Creek .690 and Hevi-13 3" 2oz #6's. I get 205 pelletsin a 10" circle at 40 yards.
