winchester super double X magnums?
 

someone gave me a box of 2 3/4 winch. super XX magnums shot size #2. i was wondering would these be a good turkey load or has anyone ever used them before. the box suggests this shell with a full choke for turkey. i was wondering if this would be a workable combo since i don' t have a tighter choke?

click you might ought to check your state laws, most states limit the size of shot to no larger than #4' s.

does anyone know where i can find the state law for north carolina because i didn' t see it in the field guide

click, I went to their web page and in the regulations it did' nt mention anything about shot size that I could find so you might be alright, But I like a shell that has a few more shot in it than the #2' s, no doubdt they will kill a turkey but you could also miss the vital areas pretty easy with such a limited number of shot.
