Truglo Strut Stopper & Hevi-shot
 

Has anybody tried hevi-shot with their Truglo Strut Stopper tubes. I emailed truglo about it and haven' t heard back. I want to try it, mine is an SP-10 with a .695 restriction.

I emailed them and they told me that the choke was not approved for Hevi-shot but that they were comming out with a new model that was approved.

I have shot it threw my 12ga .665 with no problem. I' ve also shot it threw my Remington super full...

I patterned some Remington hevishot turkey loads trough my Tru-Glo choke and they patterned very well. That' s one thing about the Tru-Glo chokes, they can be used with hevishot. As a matter of fact that Remington 3" 1 1/2oz hevishot load of #5' s patterned better than my favorite winchester 3" HV 1 3/4oz of #5' s did!! The tru-glo choke is sized .665, goes to show you that you have to try out your choke to see for sure what it' ll do.;)
