RE: seasons over now what ?
Well, I sprayed the deeks off, and threw em in their off season place, cleaned the mossburg and set it aside for repair and prepare for next season (designated gun- broke stock)
I now need to clean rig and ready 24 duck decoys and30 goose decoys.
I need to pack my bowhunting pack.
I need to pattern 2 waterfowl guns.
Shoot my bow 3 times a week.
Scout whitetails in beginning the first week of august and find a fall turkey roost.
I need to fish, alot.... I eat alot of fish. saves just as much loot as deer do.
patch my waders so my willie stays warm this year.
I'm buyin a matrix blind to take my kid out in next spring...
My list goes on and on.... full time outdoorsmen stay busy.

I didn't get to hunt much this season but I did get two birds so i'm at peace with the season being over. Now its time to play some golf, shoot the bow, and be able to go out and have a drink or two on friday and saturday nights knowing I don't have to wake up at 4:30 the next morning haha.

well the day after my season closed, i repeatedly banged my head on the hood of my truck and had a good cry this seems to speed up the recovery process. some people use drugs, but i get my high off turkey hunting. unfortunately, the withdrawal processis just as hard every year lol time to hit the lake, chase some fish, and the wind in my face will dry my tears. lol
