Need some guidance

I hunted this morning until 8 because I had to go to work.... My situation is I am in a ground blind amongst an island of trees in an alfalfa field. Our farm is edges and fields not any woods.I am facing a crp field with a fenceline about 60 yards in front of me. At 6:30 I had 2 toms and 2 jakes come right up to the fenceline in front of me. (I had a hen and Jake decoy out) the toms were clucking and chasing the jakes away from them...actually pretty comical to watch but it seemed that they were totally disinterested in my decoys. I didn't call at all until they walked the fence line away. They looked but then continued walking. They weren't spooked at all. And then of course when I had to leave I unzipped my blind climbed out and took a step and there were two big toms behind me in the alfalfa field. They were about 80 yards away. They didn't see me so I crouched and gave a few soft yelps...one was strutting and they just slowly walked away to my lefttoward a ridgeline and cornfield. I am sure they saw the decoys but were not interested.
What do you think. Should I just put a hen out. Should I move to the ridgeline instead of in the middle of the field. The birds are all around me but not walking to me.

Well Is there a path through the field that the birds walk?

Decoy's some times they work sometimes they don't? Seen bring birds in and hang them up.

to the south is a woods (neighbors property then a big valley of crp and a wooded ridge to the north. Our alfalfa is the same valley as the crp separated by a fence. The turkeys come out of the woods or the ridge typically and they just sort of meander across the alfalfa field with no specific location as their usual path. I mostly see the birds in the crp that is why I have my blind facing it. But as murphy's law would have it when I had to leave...where were the birds.... behind me in the alfalfa. I have no idea which dirction they came from??? I am facing east so I assume the came from the Southwest. This is Grant County Wisconsin, very hilly, birds just appear.

The birds that I am seeing are in plain sight of my decoys, I think gobbling would totally scare them. I did some kee kees and puts. They just weren't into it. That maybe is the only explanation and tonight I might have one come right to the decoy. You just never know...

I would try some agressive calling. But gauge their reaction. If they really dont like it then obviously stop. Also, if they seem to go to the same areas try moving. If your in your blind you can set it up anywhere as turkeys dont seem to notice them.

yeah id deffinently say try gobbling it fires up the birds up so much thinking that they have another bird on there turf you should try a gobbler decoy with a hen.

I have a B-mobile, everyone i know said that wasa waste of money, the only thing that will do is scare the turkeys away. I used it early in the season and had no success so I lost confidence in it. Birds would see it but ignore it. Will they still work in late season in your opinion? Or anyones opinion for that matter?
