Default Hevi-Shot patterns???

Hey guys i'm sure y'all are gettin tired of endless questions about hevi-shot, but i'm goingto annoy y'all with one more lol. i'll be shooting hevi 13 3" 2oz #6s out of an indian creek turkey choke, and in my benelli the constriction is .665. i read on another post about chokes that hevi shot likes a real tight pattern. Is .665 going to be too open for it? i always thought .665 was pretty tight anyway. i'd be grateful for any advice.

ive read the opposite and heard alot of guys say hevishot likes a slightly more open choke tube...i know my undertaker hevishot tube is .675 ID...i dont want it any tighter than it is...forget the pellet could..but it was more than high enough for me and would roll a bird farther than id shoot one...

just gotta pattern them and try....good luck

.665 is just fine. Goto the Indian Creek web page and see for yourself

I've read the same info. I beleive the tightest recommededfor hevi-shot was .675. My choke is .690 and it patterns great with hevi #4.

It all depends on what shotgun one has....As far as Indian Creek, they say use a .665 for Remingtons, my Mossberg 835 (overbored) they say use a .675

The Black Diamond Strike is designed to knock turkeys right off their feet. Precision engineered to the industries tightest tolerances, this tube has been proven to kill many a bird. The Strike will accommodate all lead, steel and hybrid heavy loads with shot sizes from #2 through #8. The Strike has been proven to increase pattern density by 40% or better. That means tighter groups, more pellets down range, and more birds in the freezer! Don’t settle for anything less, be ready to Strike that trophy gobbler this spring! We recommend 3”2oz #6s Hevi-13 for .665 constriction. The .655 will shoot all lead shells very well. Also available are the world Still target champion chokes in Model #0006 in .675 diameter. Ported and non ported versions.
More constrictions available upon request.

I have a rhino .660 choke in my gun, I use Nitro 4x5x7's out of it. I tried Hevi shot but the pattern was not anything good at all. So I can tell you not to use a .660 choke with it, go bigger.
