When you know your relaxed.....
 

I'll fess up... on mornings when there are no birds, I'm completely happy.
I've had many morning sitting under a tree in the turkey woods with my gun across my lap sound asleep... Its an advanced tactic I guess.
Seriously though, I believe if you love the outdoors, you feel you belong there. I love the sunlit mornings with the birds chirping and the swamp frogs... and I like to hear a gobbler answer a good snore.
Anyone else just pass the hell out hunting?

I've slept many a times while turkey hunting. Usually after an unsuccessful morning, around 11, I'll just find a nice, shady tree, sit down, and enjoy the outdoors. I love taking naps in the woods.

thats funny
i fell asleep on thurs for an hour or so i woke up and damn near jump when i realized where i was to lool to see if my dekes got beat up

It most of the time gets me when I am deer hunting and I get into the woods long before daylight..... yeah I doze off alot.

I was awakened one morning by a guy in a treestand... laughing at me while I slept (snoring) in a dried up creek bed.

Last week late afternoon on Mich Opener as I sat sound asleep - my head resting on my hands - I came dead awake at a Gobble in the distance! Am not lyin'! Tried to get sleep outa my eyes - and here comes two gobbling Jakes - to which I teased right into my set-up - filmed them a bit and went back to my nap!

Ain't it amazing what you can hear when we're sound asleep? I've done the same thing. be asleep and hear a turkey off in the distance. He might as well be sitting on my shoulder.
