Are you sure it was a Wild Turkey? Must have been a really dumb turkey. Never heard of anyone being able to run down a Wild Turkey. Anyway, congrats.

yea ive done that 3 years in a row..i spotted a turkeyand keep chasing it,last year i had to chase a jake for over a quarter mile and our camera does not have a computer wire so i got to get my cousins which might take a day or two but i swear i will post pics

I'm not doubting you killing the bird. I just can't picture someone jumping off an atv,chasing a turkey, catching up with him, and then being able to shoot him. Now, if your talking about giving the bird time to settle down and following him and setting up on him, I can understand that.If you run after a turkey, he is not going to hang around and give you a chance to shoot him. I must be misunderstanding the way you took this bird.
