First Turkey!
 

Hey Everybody, Im new to the site, I just thought I would share that I killed my first turkey last saturday (4/19/08). It was my first time hunting a new area and from about 5:40 am until they flew off the roost my buddy and I had 5 birds gobblin their heads off!I dont think 30 seconds went by without hearing a bird gobble! My buddy and I got set up about a hundred yards from them and started doing some soft calling, by 6:25 I had one come in to about 30 yards and the rest is history!

17 lbs 3 oz, 9 1/4 inch beard, 1 inch spurs
Win SX2 with gobblin thunder choke, 3 1/2 inch win 2 1/4 oz 5's
