What a day.
Long story short, I got this joker to come into the set up at 12:01 today. Had a couple of other close calls this morning, with very little gobbling and steady rain early. Really hunted hard for this dude. I am obsessed with taking pictures, so I am going to post just a few of the 54 I took. All pictures were taken with a tripod and a timer. I was DEAD by the time I was done. If someone would have been watching me, they would of had a show!
21# 10: beard, and 1" spurs. First bird taken by myself at the new place. What I am guessing to be a good 2yr old. Saw 15 turkeys total, and 3 deer. Congrats on a great bird! Way to take the time to snap pictures! I'm the same way, using the timer I took like 60 pics when I shot my bird last week! Congrats!:)
