Does anybody use a LAZY TREE when hunting?
On mornings where i just wanna go out and enjoy the morning, i use what is called a lazy tree. Basically it's a tree that over looks a huge 40 acre field that is flat on all sides. Soy beans are farmed on it and basically the turkey's come through some part of that field in the day. I take people there sometimes and i've gotten them birds. but i only use about twice a year. and i only use it when i don't feel like chasing birds. i was wondering if anyone else used this kid of style when their lazy one morning?

Since chasing is a pretty bad idea on public land... I do this quite a bit. Even if I don't get a bird... I can still enjoy the show....

I have a lazy "bulldozer pile" that I just love for both deer and turkey. It's ina good spot overlooking a field but near the corner too. The stumps and dirt that are piled up in this one spot make a perfect back rest. Lots of little new growth sprouting out the pile and with a little trimming each year makes a perfect spot to hide. Oh man do I love that spot. I must say that when I choose this particular spot, I am in danger of watching the backs of my eyelids. :D

I have a lazy Double Bull Matrix, which is the most comfortable and carefree way to hunt that I know of. Wear black, and you will not be busted. Simple as that.
