Florida Hunting

Was wondering if Turkey hunting has fell off in Central Florida. Have not been out in a week or so and was wondering if they have stopped gobbling. Anybody have any info?

Yep, seems like they are done. The last week only have heard a couple of birds and have been seeing the Toms all bunched back up. Saw 13 in a group a few days ago. There is still a tom here and there, but most are calling it quits and smoking a cigar! My sons bird killed on the 8th was looking pretty lean when I cleaned him. We got til the 20th, but if I didn't have a bird by 8:30-9, I would leave and go back in the evening which seems to do pretty good this stage of the season. Good luck!

That is what I was thinking as well. Last weekend a friend went out and did not hear anything all weekend. Called in a couple of hens but that was it
