I just purchased an Archos 40 gig handheld and a lipstick camera with headband. Stick the archos in your pocket and hit record when you start calling. If I would have had the camera in on Tuesday, it would have been a 5 minute film from calling to first bird. Then for deer season, I plan to attach the camera to the counterweight on my bow and will have video of the arrow leaving the bow all the way to the deer. Hope to have some good video this fall.

I've videotaped 2 hunts this year so far and we got birds on both. I've been the cameraman and try to position myself off the right shoulder of the hunter (right handed shooter). Sometimes the setup won't allow this so you make due.

One of my buddies videos for himself all the time. He uses a popup blind and a tripod and gets some really good video.

It can be done, you just have to set yourself up right.

My favorite way is to have 2 guys. 1 is the shooter and one has the camera. Its just the easiest way to do it. Then you can switch once the first guy gets a shot.

Me and my bud killed our first one on video sunday and he sat right next to me on the same tree and taped. He taped me all season and we have close to two hours of tukey hunting tape. So just keep at it and make sure ur battery is full and im sure it will work out.

Is there a model that shock resistant that would mount to my gun or bow? I fall down hills and in creeks and do other things I'd rather not catch on camera or break a bigger camera... a small one would be prime.
