Turkey Hunting Whether it's spring or fall doesn't matter to this bunch. Great tips on calling, bustin flocks, using blinds and more.

Default What's your favorite decoy setup

I've used all kinds of setups and got me and my friends a bird with these setups. I got a 24.5 pounder, my first bird with just a lonesome hen. I've also gotten birds with the traditional 2 hens 1 jake setup, and also gotten toms to go crazy with 2 or 3 hens by themselves. I've also gotten birds to come with a lonesome jake.

So, what's your favorite setup to use?

I have had more luck when my decoys are in my turkey vest. Our turkeys here tend to shy away from decoys. I still own them and try to use them.

B-Mobile and She-Mobile. With strings attatched to B-mobiles wings to move him back in forth in a strutting motion, very deadly!!

Since turkey's can only count in odd numbers... I use 2 hens and 1 jake. Set them at the distance you want to shoot...I like 25 yards. The gobbler will approach the jake from the front, so I alway head the jake toward the shooter, so the gobbler is looking away from the shooter.

can't believe some turkey's run from decoys. i'd pay to see that happen to my toms. they go crazy at the sight of any hen decoy.
