does anyone know if you can find morrel mushrooms in upstate new york? I went to missouri last year and had a blast looking for them. But this year I can't go so I thought I would try to look for them here in the adirondacks of new york. Let me know if anyone has every found any up here.

the only way you can keep a morel mushroom is to put them in a brown paper bag and freeze them. They still won't taste the same. I cat mine in half and let them soak in salt water overnight. then fry them up with some longbeard breat strips.
Lunch and a Longbeard!
