heres the story, we walked in about 250 yards in on a firelane, about 6:30 am. he shock gobbled at a crow. i hit my slate he gobbled twice. we heard two or three. we walked up on a food plot, we were on our hands and knees, it wasnt 5 seconds after we set up our decoy(literally im being serious)he pitched down in the food plot. luckily we crawled fast. he gobbled twice and started strutting. the hens he has been with were still roosted, they shifted trees to a tree 10 yards from us. thats when he really statred coming. he got twenty yards and that was it. got to watch him the whole way.
