RE: anyone hunt turkey with a bow
Well i would suggest that you try to find some natural blind, and draw back before they get in too close if you can hold it. I think you aim right above the beard head on, and at the top of the wing for a broadside. I missed a turkey with a bow once because i didn' t look at where my arrow was pointing, and i shot right through the blind! Bid OOPS. best of luck to ya.

RE: anyone hunt turkey with a bow
TURKEY BLINDS HAVE BEEN MADE LEGAL They cannot be made from natural materials (leaves, sticks, etc) The material must be manmade (like nylon). Mesh is not allowed either, as you can see through it. This is the first year that the blinds will be legal. Wullf, I might try turkey with a bow this year too. Good Luck!!!

RE: anyone hunt turkey with a bow
There are a lot of great looking blinds made these days. I made one myself from 25' of burlap camo. There are 2 pictures of it in my turkey hunting photos.

RE: anyone hunt turkey with a bow
If you can use a blind it' s definately the way to go when hunting with a bow. I also put a jake and 2 hen decoys about 10 - 15 yards from the blind with the jake facing the blind. Turkey pay no attention to a blind and when they come in to the decoys you should have a great opportunity for a shot. I like to use a large diameter mechanical broadhead like the Rocket Hammerhead with it' s 2" cut diameter.
