How many here take....

vacation time to enjoy hunting spring gobblers?I take 3 weeks every year not counting my regular days off, to hunt around the house and in another state or two!I also travel south in my home state to hunt with a friend about 200 miles away!Wish I could take even more time off but the job wont let me!How much time are you able to spend in the spring turkey woods

I'm taking two weeks vacation like I did last year for the last two weeks. I'll also bust my tail to hunt the first two weeks and be on midnight shift. Might have put in for a third week so when it's all said and done, I could rest

I will take a week off to hunt in Wisconsin and probably take a couple fridays to make 3 day weekends for Michigans late season.
It would be nice to have all of April and May off.

I will be taking a couple days each week along with reg. days off.so I will have like 4 days each week pluse an hr. or two the other days.it is only about 15 min. from my woods to work.

I am not a hunter I am a whitetail population reduction specialest

remember keep your back to the sun, your knife sharp, and your powder dry.

I'm like Tree climber where my spot is only about 30 minutes from home and work. Of the hunting days (March 25 - April 11 bow, April 12 - 20 shotgun) I usually pick a few morning on a week day and hunt a half day in the morning and either work a half day or work late.

For shotgun season, opening day is always a Saturday and that is the only weekend day I'll hunt. Fortunately I've taken a bird on opening shotgun morning the last three years so I haven't had to do any week day hunts there. However that might change since I'm starting to put rookies behind my blind and just do the calling so they've got to get their bird before I can get mine.

I get 2 weeks vacation each year, I take one week off during turkey season and the other off during deer season. I do get to hunt a couple of hours about every morning of turkey season, I'm just a little late for work on some mornings. If they don't like it, they will just have to get used to it.
