How long can you hunt in the spring?

I hunt in Ohio and West Virginia. You can hunt until noonin Ohio and 1:00 in WV.

I always thought it would be nice to be able to hunt all day. You`d get more time in the woods. It seems there`s always a few days that the weather is horrible and I can`t go, (usually storms). If we could hunt in the afternoons, it`d give usa chance to get out. Plus, people could get out after work,also.

In Indiana it used to be till noon, a couple of years ago they changed it to all day. But I only hunted a couple of afternoon/evenings and never had much luck.

in florida you can hunt till sunset on private land and till 12 noon on public land...................tony

In Louisiana you can hunt a 1/2 hour before sunrise to a 1/2 hour after sunset. I'm glad, because between 4:00 p.m. and 6:00 p.m. is one of my favorite times to turkey hunt. Usually4 to 5 is the magic hour for me on my property.

Wisconsin....... opens 1/2 before sunrise, closes at sunset.(closing time new this year). Last year closing time was 5 p.m.

You can hunt all day. I have noticed that a lot of states laws differ. In Iowa you cannot cast a ray of light on an animals, some states you can shine, Iowa does not have a rifle season(there is an exception), Iowa allows you to hunt on sundays, you can shoot across the property line, as long as you are on your property(old law, now changed).

we can hunt until 1:00 here. but you have to have your birds checked in by 2:00. we have a telecheck system .:D

1/2 hour B-4 sunrise until noon.....2 gobblers allowed per spring season. Some of the best eastern hunting right here.

Use to be 12 in wi for a long time then they extended the time to 5 now its sunset or 1/2 hour before dark bring on the gobblers!!!!

and at one time Wisconsin was a high Noon closing.......think it has to do with populations idk?

Mich- all day - but I gotta check
GA - all day
TN - all day
Iowa- all day

Add up all thos all days an I am tired at the end! :) and then can't wait for next spring!

Alabama the beautiful is ALL DAY LONG, even though I hardly get to hunt in the afternoon. This year I'm going to spend some time in the afternoon.
