Tested the Rem. Wingmaster HD's today
Well, I bought a couple of boxes of the HD's yesterday at Bass Pro and tested them out today. They were $20.99 per box of 5. I tested out the 3 1/2 inch in 6 shot. I normally shoot 5 shot in Rem. hevi shot mags, but the HD's come in 4 and 6 shot. I only shot two times today, at 30 and 40 yards. I was shooting free hand sitting at the base of a tree. I like to pattern a shell the way I am going to when I shoot a turkey. At 30 yards I put 112 pellets in an 8 inch circle. That equals a very dead turkey. At 40 yards I put 97 pellets in an 8 inch circle. That also equals a very dead turkey. I was shooting a Rem. 870 SPS-T thumbhole with a jellyhead choke. I was pleased with both patterns.

That is awfully darn expensive for a box of five! But it seems ammo in general is getting out of hand, but if it shot that good and you have confidence in them then i'm sure they are worth the price

I agree that it does seem awfully expensive for 5 shells. I'm glad that he went ahead and tested them though, but for that kind of money I'd probably go the NITRO route.
