making a cedar box call
 

Does anyone make there own box calls. We cut several cedars last year and this year also. Today we ripped the loggs down to start making a few calls. I've got some instructions from the web and a box or two to look at while trying to make the call. Any tips would be appreciated. Thought it would be cool to call in my gobbler this spring with my own call and a shame to waste all that good cedar. Both ofmy granddads used to make there own box calls for themselves and friends wish they were still around to talk to.

Matt you may want to check Ebay theres a few call builders there that sell box call kits maybe you can get one and use as a pattern for your calls...
