Where do you buy?
 

Where do you buy your turkey hunting stuff? The stores around here you have trouble finding a turkey chokeor even a decoy so I usually have to order from Cabelas or Midwest just wondering where everyone else buys there stuff

Well I am in Heaven when it comes to Big boyz Toy Stores

In 1 hour's time I can visit, Cabelas, Bass Pro, Gander Mountain, Sportsman's Wharehouse or Dicks!

But after over 20 yrs - have what I need - and all calls from now on are Custom - I just get more for my money.

If you got time and patience EBAy is great.Other than that most of my stuff comes from Cabelas or Bass Pro

I am blessed with having two excellent local businesses in my area, one of them is called Legend's Outdoor Advantage, great rifle and accessories store, and the second one is called Benton Shooter's Supply, excellentshotgun store, in Benton,Tennessee; and both of them are large stores, and as for ammo, I always buy my Federal Powershoks for deer season at Wal-Mart, since they have the lowest prices on Federal Powershoks, just $10.95 for .308 Winchester, can't beat that.
But whenever I'm in Knoxville, Tennessee, I go to Gander Mountain, and a word of advice to anyone passing through the Chattanooga area, don't go to Sportsman's Warehouse, they think they're supplying for Wyoming, not for Tennessee, all their guns are WSM's and varmit rifles, and their flyfishing flies are meantto imitate Colorado species instead ofSouthern species, altogether it was pathetic, good deals on some bulk .223 ammo, though.

I hve a 45 min drive to Cabelas but they don't start carrying turkey stuff for a few more weeks. i went there last sunday and they didn't have anything

i buy them whenever and where ever i can...especially if it is on sale....but who ever has it cheap is where i usually buy it...

If I know what I want, I check Ebay. There's a new Bass Pro about an hour from here, haven't been there yet, New Cabelas about an hour and a half, went there last week and they had squat as far as turkey stuff. Suppose they'll stock up when the season gets closer.

Wal*Mart is the only close store to us 80 Miles to a Cabela's. I just bought a Camo Jacket for 15 Bucks. T Shirts for !.00, Sweat Shirts for 3.50 I am a 3X. Several Racks and Shelves of That Stuff went in 4 hours. I would not ever known if a Friend of mine's wife who works there had not called him and he called me :o)

One of my Fav. Jackets my Wife made it out of Quilted Material. That was the last one! She had just had a Baby and I bugged her to get it Sewed Up, and she did. But has never made be another one....LoL Our Baby is now 31...LoL So just a word of advice you younger hunters don't take your Woman for Granted.

Also back in my younger days I only had a 25.06, 870, 22, and a .410 those will kill anything in Missouri:)

I go to my local hunting shop first (Brewers). If they don't have it, I am off to Bass Pro.

I usually just drive an hour East to Cabelas or an hour West to Gander Mt.
