RE: vortex pro extreme broad heads??

Most traditional broadheads will work on turkeys. In my opinion shot placement is more critical and to try and keep the arrow in the bird instead of a pass through. My research shows me that most archery enthusiast use a form of stopper behind their broadheads to keep the arrow in the bird to tansfer 100% of the impact shock and prevent the bird from flopping and flying away before recovery. Check out products such as the Zwickey Scorpio, Muzzy Grasshopper, and the Bateman Small Game Stopper. They are cheaper alternatives to dress up your existing broadheads for gobbler hunting. You can also check out New Archery Products Gobbler Getter Spitfire mechanical. They have a
blunted tip to prevent pass through. Good luck this season.
