Someone last year posted in great detail on how to do different calls on a box call.

If they could post it again, it was great!!!!

[hr]I raise turkeys, I love to go out and try my calls and decoys on them, and I also try to mimic their calls. It is not like the real thing, but it is close!:D

Germ...I know exactly what you are talking about and I believe that they posted a 'How to us a slate call' thread as well. I can't ever get the search function to work on the huntingnet forums (I can on other forums, but not this one) or I would try and help you out. I don't know why, but I want to say that either strutstopper or mr longbeard wrote it. I don't know why, but those two names are sticking out in my mind:). Hopefully, when they see your post, they will comment on it...
