Getting dressed up is half the fun : ) I agree, they have some very good eye sight. Just like with deer hunting though, make sure you leave yourself some shooting lanes.Cant wait for the season t get here. Camo in the pics UltimateCamo

Thanks fellas. There is a hunter in the second picture at the base of the tree. No trick photography, just good camo :)

I wish I had a pattern that matched the trees in this area...

I actually prefer two different patterns for here. A good leaf pattern for pants and a good bark parttern like the new ultimate camo for shirt and mask. i love the obssession by mossy oak if you have alot of green foliage.

I get completely covered with camo and usually dont put on any more than a layer of clothing under the camo. I would rather be a little cold in the morning than being realy hot while trying to run and gun turkeys.

It's all about movement really, with that said the more you blend in with your particular enviroment the more you can get away with slight movements.

For me a DoubleBull blind works well, no fancy camo needed just something a dark in color, blue, black, brown works. You can make all the movement you want, call, eat asnack and drink with being noticed.I can wear shorts and tennis shoes and be comfortable. As good as the turkey is at hearing and their tremendous eye sight is they dont even notice a pop up blind such as my DoubleBull. You can set in up and have turkeys within feet anywhere within a matter of minutes and especially good for bowhunting. Pop-ups are are good thing to use when introducing women and youngsters to the sport also.Turkeys seem not to notice something different like deer do, so brushing it in isnt nescessary.
