I Can't wait I am going plum CRAZY [8D]

A Good Friend sent me a new wingbone turkey call.

And is it SWEET ;)

And it set me on fire.

I got the Turkey BUG Big time.

Any one else going Crazy ????

I'm done deer hunting its cold outtired of all thissnow. I'm ready for spring turkey.

I've been ready for turkey season since November. Spring gobblers around my the neck of the woods better watch out.

Was quail hunting in December 17-24th- shot at quail - dropped a few and down in the holler - Turkeys gobbling their fool head off!

So I put the dog on down -downed quail could wait.....pulled out my ball point pen....took the pen barrel off......used it like a wingbone....yes it works.......and got to see two very nice Toms at 20 yards.....then released the hounds........

Man.............that really made my day!

Oh the birds all flew......about 10 of them....

One last thing - the people you meet on this forum...well......jrbsr! Calling me a "good friend"! Sight unseen - really made my day this 1st day of the new year!

I am ready! I am still excited to deer hunt the rest of the season, but I have been seeing a big flock that will be in danger in 4 months!!!

I always start to get pumped right around the middle of Nov. I have to start to get my applications in for MN. and WS. by early Dec. for their draw deadlines. Once that happens, I take in all the turkey hunting info I can until my seasons are over with for the year. By then I'm pooped out from travel and lack of sleep.

Had my grandkids over today - turkey shows on - made an excellent excuse to set-up one of my Double bulls in front of the Televison....

"But Dear - this is a kiddies playhouse!" and I took pictures to prove it.....post a bit later!

Think me and the kiddies might even sleep in it tonight!

My mom wants to kick my @SS, all I do is play with my turkey calls, and she is getting very mad, hahahaha, I think its funny:D, she can't wait for turkey season either, to get me out of the house:D

Same here!!!!! My mom is about to kick me out of the house for using them in here to much!!!!:D

I am dying to get out and hunt. I haven't done any hunting since Jan. 31, so I am ready. A friend and I are going snow goose hunting tomorrow, but I get stuck running the camera. I don't think that is going to satisfy the hunting craze for me.[&:]:)

i'm counting down the days until May! It stinks because i'm going to miss the first two weeks of the season due to final exams, but i usually get to hunt everyday of the last two weeks of the season. I'm getting a couple of my buddies to go turkey hunting with me this year so i'm excited to see the look on their face the first time that big old tom cuts loose with a gobble right in front of them. I don't even care if I get one this year.
