Had a great morning today
 
What a way to end the old and begin the new year. I was deer hunting this morning and about 7:00 a gobbler cut loose. This brought a big grin on my face. I was fired up and ready for the Spring season. I was sitting there thinking of the upcoming season when a big 9 point broke my concentration. What a morning. I harvested a great buck and got to hear some early gobbling. Can't get much better than that. My blood is now boiling for those gobblers. Less than three months away and I will be chasing those two longbeards I've seen on my land.

I fully intended having a good day.... The state won't let me buy any more deer tags, Buddies are all drunk still, no geese flying by the house....
