Yesterdays, 20 degree drom in temp, howling winds, and piling snow made them put on the feed bag....there were 2 birds with 10+ beards...2 of them only had 4-6" beards but had 1" or better spurs, rather puzzling to me...

Merry christmas to you!! Of course they will break up some in spring but there is hundreds of acres of good turkey woods that is federal forest thatI can hunt around me!!

Oh shoot I forgot to add - just got back form Kansas 12/23/07- we whacked a bunch of quail - after a series of several shotgun blasts - off in the distance - Gobbling like you would not believe!

That really made my day!
