...what would it be? Let's say you just fell into a fistful of cash and it was burning a hole in your wallet. You just got your new Midwest catalog and are going to opt for a new high end friction call from one of the custom call makers. All kinds considered here, slate, glass, etc. Remember, this is the call you've always dreamed of owning. Which one's going to be on the Big Brown Truck headed for your house?

I wish I still had one of Ben Lee's original slate trough calls!I had one about 20 years ago and lost the dang thing in the turkey woods. The one his son is producing now cant compare to the original his dad was making....

well I really like the looks of the Graveyard Calls

http://www.graveyardcalls.com/

I also like the looks of the limited two call set from Close Calls in this years Midwest catalog.

I just don't see the need in payin a rediculous price for a custom
call, when a call from one of the regular manufactors will bring a turkey in just as good. so just send me ole yellow

jk- if people have the money and want a custom call, buy away!
it's just not my thing.

to be honest Bob, I can't see where ole yellow sounds any better, or is any more user friendly, than the thunderdome slate I had. I just said ole yellow, because I just bought one.

I think everbody has a different opinion on what sounds good in a
turkey call. I don't know about the custom calls. I've never owned
one, and I would imagin there would certainly be a difference in the sound of a paticular call, that was made by two different people. as
in the case of the superhen.

I'm going for the Osage Orange slate from Harrison Calls. I've had my eye on them for awhile, gonna go ahead and get me one. I like the Blodgett's too, in fact, I really like them!
