Last year I hunted the Pee Dee River Game Land which isn't to far from you. I had gobblers come to me every day of the first week. I've also hunted Chatham game land which is almost on the Harnett county line. There's turkeys there but you need to walk a long ways to get away from the other hunters. I would suggest heading towards the old power station. Of course there's Shearon Harris, but you need to draw a permit. If I can help in any way let me know.
