RIPPED OFF!?

RE: RIPPED OFF!?
If it is a paid hunt through an outfitter and your guide brings a gun along for himself, that would be a good sign the outfit is bogus. If you invited him to bring his gun and shoot a bird also, then shame on you. I have had hunters offer for me to bring my gun and shoot a bird. I never did. It is just my opinion that even if the hunter makes the offer for the guide to bring their gun, it is their hunt and they are what matters. If I had brought it, I would not have shot until the hunter had gotten his bird. I would dispute the $250 cost.

I would refuse to pay and if he tried to get you in collections court you could probably win. If there is no written contract then there is nothing that he can do. I am sure you can find another place to bird hunt man I wouldn't waste one more minute with that turd.

First of all, I wouldn't even consider hunting with this guy again, quail and pheasants, or not - find somewhere else to hunt. Secondly, do not pay him a dime. You are a minor - he's out of luck. He'll be mad but you'll have the satisfaction of a least having $250 in your pocket!

Don't pay dude, if you end up goin to court over it and you still have to pay then your out 250 plus court costs but i would think common sense would tell the judge not to make you pay for a bird you didn't shoot.
