New hunters ?
 

Well Sunday I met three new turkey hunters ,They came to my house to see if it would be alright to shoot a turkey in my front yard .Keep in mind theses were high school aged kids and not adults . After informing them that it isn't turkey season ,They were trespassing and even the road they came in on is private ,they weren't bad kids just misinformed .Also told them you shouldn't carry a shotgun with you to knock on someones front door . The sad part of this is nobody has ever bothered to explain hunting to them ,just given them a gun and let go to play with it . Have any of you ever run into a situation like this and how did you handle it .

Boy, that's a first for me!! I agree, sure sounds like they never attended a safety course before. You handled it well halcon!!

Yes unfortunately I have Halcon except these individuals were chasing turks with high powered rifles!!!<img src=icon_smile_sad.gif border=0 align=middle><img src=icon_smile_sad.gif border=0 align=middle>
