Bird and the Fence

Question: A bird comes to the fence looking for your calls - He is on private property that you have no permission to hunt. Do you lower the hammer? Remember, he is just 30 yard away!!!!

no never trespass on anothers property, you would'nt want them to trespass on yours. instead try to coax him over or under the fence. there may be someone on that property watching you.

Bird dog good question that same scenerio happend to me this spring, and beretta was right dont cross over onto the property, i was set up on a edge of a corn feild and i heard him gobble about 50 yrds away so i began with soft yelps he responded and began to come in well his gf was there and she began to talk back to me and i got her pretty fired up but the gobbler was roosted in the no hunting zone and i was on public land and the big ole fence didnt make him fly over he just sat there and goobbled his head off thinking id come to him lol

so if you c an get in closer thats a bonus sometimes they will jump over and come in but that can be funny to see him hang up hehehe

If he is on the neighbors property and I don't have permission to hunt ,I wouldn't even think about it .I only have one neighbor that is posted and thats fine with me .

It's not a chance I would take either. Not worth the chance of a fine, possible lose of gun,or the confrontation with the land owner and/or game warden.
