Successful Turkey Hunters

What do you do with your wing feathers from the turkeys that you shoot, and dont get a mount done?
I am looking for the primary feathers, and was wondering if you all throw them away after cleaning your birds.
I have been unsuccessful in drawing a turkey permit here in MI for 8 years running, so I cant seem to get my own.

Kip, I throw mine away. do you use them to put on your arrows?
if so, remind me this spring, and I'll mail you some. that is
if I'm lucky enough to kill one.

I sent stealthy-cat some a couple years ago. he makes his own arrows
also.

Bogobble, thats exactly what I am intending to do with them. I love the looks of natural feathers on arrows. Thanks, I'll be sure to remind you.

I have two Jake Merriam wings in my freezer now which I have been saving to make wing bone calls. If you want the main feathers, E-mail me your address and I'll send them out as soon as I can start to work on them!
