count the turkeys

my deer hunting land is overrun with turkeys. you think I get drawn for a tag? NO! I see them every single time hunting. Just thought I'd share.

Rackluster, you should be happy, when I was growing up as a kid in MN, I never saw a wild turkey. I just read an article down here in KC, that they are on a major comback in MN., that's great news, I hope in the future you guys up north can experience the numbers we have down here, and where anyone can walk up to the counter and buy a turkey tag.

mastevt - yes, turkeys have made a MAJOR comeback. it's unbelievable how many turkeys we have. I never saw a wild turkey until about 9 years ago. Now i see on average about 20 every time I bowhunt. I actually saw turkeys for the first time on my own land (quite a bit farther north) yestarday.

now if I could only get drawn for a tag!!
