Turkey Hunting Whether it's spring or fall doesn't matter to this bunch. Great tips on calling, bustin flocks, using blinds and more.

Default Paul's Calls

Hey folks. I've been away for awhile. I've never "talked" much on the board but I have enjoyed reading you'lls comments. I can remember a lot of reference to a box call made by Paul's Calls (I have one of his box calls). It was made of sasafras and something else, maybe butternut. I'd like to have him make me one but first I'd like to verify the type of wood. If I remember correctly, quite a few of you'll had one built with the wood combination. If any of you would please comment on any type of Paul's box calls I'd appreciate the info. Thanks.

I have walnut/butternut - purpleheart/cypress - purpleheart/cherry paddle - walnut/poplar paddle - mesquite/pecan

The walnut/butternut is incredible and everyone he has made that I have heard of the combo is awesome.

The purpleheart/cherry paddle I have is unbelievable as well.

Good Hunting...
