Tail Fan Picture
No its not my turkey, I have still not yet been lucky enough to get a turkey with my bow, but Im still trying. I did this tail fan mount for a older gentleman friend of ours. This was his first turkey. He took this jake in southern Illinois in the spring of 2002. So I thought Id share the photo with all of you. The items I used to make it are deer leather, rabbit fur, whitetail deer antler butttons, malachite stones and arrow head, Jakes beard and tail fan. Unfotuneatly it had gotten pretty beat around before he brought it to me to mount, but I still liked how it came out and it was fun doing it.:)

That is an example of some really nice work you have done there, LF. Can't say as I have ever seen a tail fan done up like that. I'm impressed! MTT

Thanks for the compliments folks! The best part of it all when doing mounts for friends is seeing their face break out in a ear to ear grin when they see the finished work of their trophy.<img src=icon_smile_big.gif border=0 align=middle>
