scope vs tru-glo sights

I have been using tru-glo sights on my mossberg for a few years now with no probelms. I am thinking about putting a scope on this season? Has anyone had any problems with their scope that I should know about before I put one on? thanks. TURK4RF

TURK4RF i was wondering why you want to put a scope on your 7.5lb. gun?

My eyes aren't what they used to be. I looked thru a few scopes at gander mountain and everything was crystal clear. I am just worried about the scope foggy up or something like that when a bird is coming in.

TURK4RF, the reason i was asking was because i had thought of putting one on my gun last year, but i did'nt know if it was worth the extra money and weight.

I have a scope on my Winchester 1300, and love it!! One of the main reason's going to one for me was that my gun didn't shoot to the point of aim. So by scoping it, all you do is dial in the crosshairs to the center of your pattern!! The scope will also suck in more light making it easier to identify your target in the early morning light!! Like BT, I would highly suggest going to one as well. <img src=icon_smile_big.gif border=0 align=middle>

This is like anything, you'll get a ton of opinions. I know several people that had scopes and used them a couple of years and none of them have them now. I will put a plug in for Tasco if you want to get one.

Last year I put a scope on my gun,and have to say I'm glad I did.Hunted 8 days wiyh it last year with no problems.Hunted 4 days in Wisconsin where it rained every day!The scope never fogged up.As for the extra weight,I have a sling on my gun and so I don't really notice the weight.
