Hunting Ny State

I am thinking about coming to Ny State to do some hunting this spring.
I was thinking about hunting the Adirondack State forest and the Catskill State Forest.

Does anybody have any info on the hunting there? And can you get away from crowds there?

I wish I could help you there Ken, but I live almost 8+ hrs away. That area is at the northern part of the state. Maybe there is someone here from that area that can point you in the right direction. Scroll down the forum list and you will see some forums from different parts of the country, you might want to post this there as well.:)

Adirondacks don't hold alot of birds from what I've heard. If you decide to come to NY drop me an e-mail, I'm in the southern Tier be glad to help you out.
