scratch box

How many of you use a scratch box call?
I just got one from Dad's Custom Calls. It took a little practice to get the hang of it but I think it sounds great.Looking forward to using it this spring.

You bet...

The best one I've ever heard is made by Rich Shively out of VA.

I'm with Pro on this one. I love my Richard Shively Super Yelper. Santa brought it to me the other year and it is not only beautiful but sounds great!

RE: scratch box

I have one I got 33 years ago. I have tried a lot of different type of calls and always go back to the little cedae scratch box.I even broke a lip off a few years back, then glued it back on. it still works great.
I make a few each year and give them to young hunters.

I am not a hunter I am a whitetail population reduction specialest

remember keep your back to the sun, your knife sharp, and your powder dry.
