Turkey tracks..
 

I am having a hard time finding my turkeys on the land I hunt, today I took my daughter for a 4 wheeler ride and came across some tracks at the entr driveway of the land.
These tracks are fairly fresh (yesterday) and in an area where there are about 30 Geese all day long, alongside a pond.
Now, the dumb question, but turkey tracks, they are significanly larger than geese right? Am I going to disrupt this flock of geese (and their young) by ripping a turkey load over their heads to get to the turkeys?

Yes, I have seen many turkey tracks but have never paid attention to the geese, seeing how they are in the same area I just want to be sure I am not waisting time..
So the geese tracks would naturally be smaller, is that so?

Goose tracks are about the same size as a hen turkey. However, the side toes on a turkey track are, for the most part, straight.The same toes on agoose track are noticablely arched or bowed toward the center toe. There may be a faint imprint of the webbing.

Remember, Goose tracks are webbed! Turkey tracks are also a lot longer on the toes, especially the center. Also, regarding disrupting the geese when you blast a load of turkey shot off.... I would imagine! LOL! :DHowever, I'm sure they'll get over it... sometime. ;)

Don't geese only leave 3 toe prints whereas turkeys will leave 3 front and 1 straight back.
