I NEED your help!!!!!!!

Ok.... heres the deal. I have permission to hunt this farmers private land. Nice green field surronded by woods. Birds usually hit the field first couple of days, but this other guy that can hunt the land too hunts there and calls way too much and spooks birds. It gets so birds gobble like mad but never come to the field anymore. I know some of you are gunna say "just set up in woods." Well its not that easy. Where the birds usually roost and gobble from once they hit the ground, I cant get around them. They pretty much have to come to the field. Any advice on how to get them to come to the field. To get them to feel safe and more comfortable? Please help! Thanks alot!

By reading this statement, I wonder where the problem is. You say they have to come to the field, so seems logical to get set up in the field before they come there. Hopefully, the other guy gets his turkey soon, and leaves you plenty of season for the turkeys to settle down, and then you'll have them all to yourself! Late season can be good, so don't give up!

When i say "thney pretty much have to come to the field" I mean in order for me to shoot them. They dont have to come to the field, they can stay in the woods. So its not like they come to the field everyday. I meant in order for me to shoot them they have to come to the field.

Do you know the guy maybe you can team up and ask if you can do the calling. Otherwise you're just gonna have to deal with it. The owner has every right to let joe blow on his land. I too have dealt with thisand it does get frustrating.
