Another one bites the dust!
Well, I called in 3 toms and a hen for my cousin this weekend. We went out friday night to do some hunting and to set up the blind, and after 45 minutes after setting up there was a double bearded 16lb tom flopping around. It happened in about 1.5 minutes. Some hens yelped so I yelped back and we went back and forth for 5 minutes just going insane. Then they shut up. 5 minutes later we heard a branch snap. We looked down for a second then looked up and heres a tom 15 yards away looking at the dekes. My cousin waved his hand at me a little to high and the tom kinda saw him and started to go to the other field but it was too late...Pics to come. Now its my turn again. Still lots of them around here!
