Ive got a Turkey question
 
well the last couple day ive seen about 4-5 toms with in 30 yards of me but, when there strutting i cant seem to get them to stick there head up for the shot ive tried agressive calling doesnt seem to work either.

im not real sure on this but if it was me id just shoot but if you really want there head out then try screwing up a call and see if you cant get him to be like wat was that and stick his head out in alarm just an idea good luck with those birds

in addition to what ryncam said..... i know people who will say something out loud like: "hey you!" to get the birds out of strut. you could also try making slightly noticeable movements... maybe like moving your hand. just a couple of ideas. good luck!

yeah i tried whistling my dad tried screwing up a call, just caused them to take off in a full out run lol. hmmm well tonights my last night so if he wont stick his head up i guess ill just have to let him have it.

If you use a mouth call just putt it will work works for me every time good luck

Whistle works for me when a putt doesn't. But at 30 steps if your gun is shooting good and tight it shouldn't matter if he is broadside to you.
